Can you wwoof forever

Step 4 Host Receives Request - The host receives an email notification for a "Visit Request" in their inbox in their regular email program. They have the option to reply via their email or use the link included in the email message and reply via the WWOOF website. Hosts should stay in regular contact in order to confirm arrangements as the arrival date draws near.

Hosts, please invest a little extra time in communicating with your potential WWOOFers before you accept or decline a request. Don't accept only because you need help! Step 6 Automatic email sent to remind hosts to accept or decline request - At 1 week the host receives an email notification to remind them to either accept or decline their pending visit request.

A link is provided in the email notification that takes them directly to the visit request conversation thread where they have the option to accept or decline. You will generally need to bring your own work clothes — you will be getting dirty! Your host should provide tools required for your tasks. If something really does go wrong, talk to your host first, there may have been a misunderstanding. However your host also has the right to notice of you leaving unless there is a genuine emergency.

Wwoofing is a great way to really discover where you are. You can get involved with local life, learn new skills and have a chance to absorb the language. You also save money on accommodation and food which really do add up! Wwoofing is a great way for backpackers to take a breather from travelling whilst still learning and becoming emerged in local life.

So should you Wwoof? Consider this an opportunity to tell fellow WWOOF members about your experience helping them determine if this prospect would be right for them.

Members receiving a review are able to reply once by clicking on the Reply tab. No further replies are allowed on that review. If you wish to post a negative review please do so in a respectful manner, providing constructive feedback to give the member an opportunity to learn, adapt, and improve, in order to enhance their future WWOOFing experiences. Searching by the members User ID is easiest but you can also search by names or portion of a name.

There are many advantages to using the visit request feature including reducing your time to manage requests, minimize no-shows, build your reviews, and more, as discussed here. The first family was at the West of Norway, in a small town in the Fjords. I was welcomed by what I call now "my forever second family". It was a small farm-holding with horses, sheep, goats, cows and chickens. I mainly took care of the horses and the sheep.
